Position Summary

As the Organizational Strategy Advisor, you will work alongside HR and senior leadership to guide initiatives that optimize team structures and align operational models with the company’s evolving strategy. Your leadership will help define the organization’s direction through impactful design work and by nurturing a culture grounded in adaptability, unity, and forward-thinking strategy.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE :

  • Lead efforts to improve how teams are structured and operate in line with long-term business goals.
  • Analyze current organizational models and propose improvements that meet both capability and service delivery needs.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to create high-level organizational charts and outline key workflows.
  • Define role structures, team compositions, and job profiles that support functional effectiveness.
  • Partner with compensation teams to ensure job design aligns with company-wide job architecture and pay strategy.
  • Establish consistent tools and frameworks for making team structure and transformation decisions.
  • Manage incoming requests for organizational design support and prioritize based on business impact.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, overseeing the quality of work and ensuring effective knowledge transfer.
  • Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of structure and process changes over time.
  • Work with HR and change teams to support smooth transitions and implementation plans.
  • Stay informed on trends in organizational design and apply relevant insights to internal strategies.
  • Share design methods and tools across the business to support broader learning and awareness.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.*
  • Five or more years of proven experience managing enterprise restructuring, operating strategy overhauls, or complex workforce coordination initiatives.*
  • Familiarity with working in unionized environments or regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to organization-wide change or restructuring efforts in large, multi-stakeholder settings.
  • A recognized designation or certification in HR or organizational development (e.g., CPHR, OD certification) is considered an asset.
  • A background in insurance or financial services is an asset.
  • Different combinations of relevant experience and education may be considered.
