We are seeking an experienced Senior Pega Administrator to lead the management and optimization of our Pega BPM platform. This role is essential in maintaining the stability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical business applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including developers, infrastructure engineers, and business stakeholders—to ensure seamless operation, security, and high availability of the Pega environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain the Pega platform, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and scalability of Pega-based solutions.
  • Support development and deployment activities in collaboration with development and solution architecture teams.
  • Troubleshoot platform-level issues and implement long-term solutions, including root cause analysis and preventative measures.
  • Automate administrative tasks using shell scripting or equivalent tools.
  • Manage user roles, access controls, and security settings within Pega.
  • Integrate Pega with external systems and services using REST, SOAP, MQ, TCP, and HTTP protocols.
  • Write, maintain, and optimize SQL queries for monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation covering platform configurations, procedures, and change history.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Pega BPM, with at least 2 years in a platform administration role.
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
  • Experience with Pega application development and deployment.
  • Proficient in Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of database performance tuning.
  • In-depth understanding of integration methods including REST, SOAP, MQ, TCP, and HTTP.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex platform and application issues efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SDLC, and CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Working knowledge of Java and/or Python.
  • Experience using Git and managing code through pull requests and version control.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
