Reporting to the Director, Independent delivery contractors (IDC) Relations, the Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all the last-mile companies we work with are fully compliant in terms of having all required insurance, WSIB, and corporate requirements. The position will cover Canada as well as advising our subsidiary companies outside of Canada. The candidate will also need to proactively ensure that we are compliant with Canadian law.

Main Responsibilities
- IT platforms implementation & adoption
- Ongoing compliance development of new functionality and enhancements in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Ensure appropriate system support is responsive
- Oversee the IDC Compliance Specialists and liaise with key stakeholders
- Prepare IDC data dashboard reports
- Proactively ensure that compliance is always up to date
- Audit provided documents to ensure accuracy
- Available to travel and work within stations
- Qualifications or 3 years’ experience in business administration, compliance management, legal studies, or other related fields such as in logistics and transport industry;
- At least 3 years’ experience in managing others;
- Knowledge of the logistics and transport industry is preferred;
- Strong knowledge of the legal requirements of last-mile carriers;
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude, with strong people skills;
- Strong service-oriented mentality with the ability to actively listen and troubleshoot;
- Ability to research and apply learning quickly;
- Excellent Interpersonal, organizational, problem solving and administrative skill;
- Bilingual (French and English) - written/spoken
