Job Description

Job Summary

This bilingual position develops and manages a portfolio of customers in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) within a specific geographical area. This position is responsible for achieving their assigned sales plan by generating profitable UPS revenue growth through the development of new business and the retention of existing business within their assigned accounts. This role analyzes customers’ current supply chain needs to create appropriate solutions and promptly respond to customers’ requests.

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Workdays: Monday to Friday (must be able to work ALL 5 days of the week)

Shift Hours: 8.00 AM to 6.00 PM (must be able to work a minimum of 40 hrs. per week)

Shift Duration: 8 hours a day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time)

Work Location: 1221 32ND AVENUE LACHINE, QC H8T 3H2

Salary Wage: $4,719 monthly

Key Responsibilities And Duties

  • Maintain and grow a book of business (e.g., ground, air, international) to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Make contact by telephone or email to obtain the initial information about the potential customer and then sets up in person appointments. (Majority of customer meeting will be face-to-face).
  • Introduce new products and services and expands business opportunities within customer accounts.
  • Negotiate and prepare a comprehensive logistics solution for the customer.
  • Track sales performance to objectives.
  • Monitor account statistics and qualifies internal sales leads to identify opportunities and create an effective sales strategy.
  • Complete maintenance, problem resolution, and sales managements of client portfolio.
  • Utilize resources and account history to prepare for sales calls.
  • Submit pricing requests and analyzes price quotes.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), generates standard and customized reports and queries, accesses appropriate databases, and interprets and clarifies data.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: French 90% / English 10%
  • Level of French needed: proficiency
  • Level of English needed: intermediate
  • Previous Sales experience - Required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate or advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, and Outlook (Microsoft Office)
  • Bachelor's degree or International equivalent – Preferred
  • Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
  • Willing to travel on the territory – only on road | Class 5 License
  • Availability to work flexible hours and provides own vehicle for business
