Senior Process Engineer

This busy Canadian auto parts manufacturer is looking to add the talents of a Process Engineer who has successfully led Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives in similar environments. Current knowledge of automotive industry standards and CI tools are essential hiring criteria. This role is shop-focused, providing frequent opportunities to participate on the manufacturing floor as well as liaise across departments to stabilize and improve production processes, while contributing to an effective and safe working environment.

Our ideal candidate is a proven Manufacturing or Process Engineer who can draw from prior plant floor experiences driving efficiency improvements, LEAN initiatives, and troubleshooting root-cause of potential bottlenecks/breakdowns. This person must be capable when programming and troubleshooting PLCs; an understanding of metallurgical processes (stamping, robotic welding, etc.) would be valued. A humble and collegial approach to supporting Production activities is mandatory to succeed in this highly tenured environment. A post-secondary education in an Engineering discipline is required.
