About The Opportunity
Our client in Ottawa east is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing organization on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Processing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- High volume, complex account and credit card reconciliations
- Processing payments, preparing bank deposits
- Posting of journal entries, working closely with the General Ledger, adjustments as needed
- Processing payroll as well as tax and WSIB remittances
- Assisting in the coordination and preparation of budget and financial forecasts
- Production of Financial Statements, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual results including Income Statements, P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Management
- Assisting with financial reporting and analysis as needed, working closely with Senior Management
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in full-cycle Accounting
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (English essential)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
