About The Role

The Human Resources Business Partner plays a pivotal role in supporting Flexpipe’s success by collaborating with leaders across various business units to implement and manage HR strategies and programs. This position works closely with the HR Manager to manage core HR functions such as workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, recruitment, compensation, and organizational effectiveness.

This role is a blend of strategic and hands-on responsibilities, requiring the ability to solve complex people challenges, provide coaching to leaders, and contribute to a positive and evolving employee experience. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in modern HR practices and the ability to guide others through change while fostering a positive company culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Partnership and Business Alignment: Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring HR strategies align with operational goals. Partner with the HR Manager on workforce planning, organizational changes, and talent strategies to support agility and growth.
  • Employee Relations, Coaching, and Leader Enablement: Provide guidance on sensitive employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and progressive discipline. Coach managers to build leadership capability and ensure consistency in policy application.
  • Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Workforce Development: Support recruitment efforts, role alignment, and workforce forecasting. Guide onboarding processes to enhance early engagement and retention. Contribute to succession planning and delivery of development plans.
  • HR Metrics, Total Rewards, and Compliance: Use HR data and analytics to track trends and KPIs, providing insights to inform decision-making. Assist in compensation and rewards decisions, ensuring fairness and internal equity. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and policies.
  • Employee Experience, Engagement, and Culture: Champion engagement initiatives, mental health and wellbeing programs, and activities that build an inclusive company culture. Foster a connected workplace through feedback loops, recognition programs, and communication tools.

Education / Experience

  • Minimum 2-year College Diploma with 4-5 years of progressive HR experience, or
  • 3-year University Degree (in a related field) with a minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
