- Verify identities and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
- Document incidents and actions taken
- Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
- Experience in tactical communication and use of force or self-defense is considered an asset
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating a positive customer experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Tactical experience is highly valued and essential for this role
- Clean criminal background check
- Saskatchewan Security Guard Training Certificate (we can assist in obtaining this)
- Standard First Aid Level ‘C’ certification is an asset
