The IT Release Management Lead will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of software releases across multiple environments. This role will ensure that releases are delivered on time, within scope and with minimal disruption to business operations.

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve release management processes and policies.
- Plan and coordinate release schedules and ensure alignment with business goals and project timelines.
- Manage the end-to-end release process, which will include planning, testing, deployment, and post-release support.
- Collaborate with Digital Delivery, Platform Services and Operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient release cycles.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with releases to ensure minimal impact on production environments.
- Monitor and report on release progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve release management process, incorporating stakeholder feedback and best practices.
- In partnership with Cybersecurity, ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements during the release process.
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area preferred.
- 5+ years of IT release management experience.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong experience in process improvement.
- Experience working on multiple projects / cross functional initiatives
- Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively work and build partnerships with employees at all levels within the organization.
