Fountain Tire Cold Lake, an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive/Commercial Tire Technician!

You will be responsible for

  • Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger, light truck, medium truck, farm, industrial and OTR tires and wheels in a safe and efficient manner
  • Inspecting tires and wheels and delivering onsite customer tire maintenance programs
  • Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
  • Complete specialty tire work
  • Ensure all equipment, tools and supplies are returned in good working condition to proper location
  • Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
  • Accurate and professional customer service
  • Maintaining tire service equipment
  • Understanding and adhering to safe operation of all equipment


What does it take to get on track?

  • Previous tire/automotive experience is preferred
  • A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
  • A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
  • A keen attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
