About The Opportunity

LRO Staffing is working with a well-respected organization in the National Capital Region to assist in the recruitment of a Marketing Coordinator. This is a newly created position designed to support the organization’s marketing and communications initiatives and contribute to its continued growth and brand presence. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Support the execution of email campaigns, digital content, announcements, and newsletters
  • Manage content scheduling and community engagement on social media platforms
  • Coordinate logo placements, branding, and sponsorship deliverables
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of client-facing and internal events
  • Develop and manage marketing materials and digital assets, ensuring brand consistency
  • Liaise with internal teams, industry partners, and external vendors
  • Contribute to recruitment marketing efforts and identify relevant sponsorship opportunities
  • Manage booth logistics and promotional materials for conferences and trade shows

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (required)
  • 1–3 years of experience in a marketing coordination role
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms, social media management, and CRM tools
  • Strong design skills using Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms
  • Solid command of Microsoft PowerPoint and the full Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is an asset
  • Organized, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

About the Job

  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid, minimum 3 days in-office
  • Location: Downtown Ottawa
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (8:30am-4:30pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch)
  • Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually
