Reporting to the Lead Accountant, the Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting in the overall management of the company's financial and accounting activities while ensuring the application of financial controls. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the following activities:

Senior Accountant
Summary Of Responsibilities
Reporting to the Lead Accountant, the Senior Accountant is responsible for assisting in the overall management of the company's financial and accounting activities while ensuring the application of financial controls. The Senior Accountant is responsible for the following activities:
- Produce monthly analyses of the company's operational and financial performance for management
- Assist in the reporting and production of monthly consolidated financial statements;
- Perform account analysis and adjustment entries;
- Perform monthly account reconciliation;
- Ensure financial reporting;
- Handle payroll;
- Participate in the optimization of administrative processes;
- Perform all other related tasks.
- Member of the CPA order or in process of obtaining it (an asset);
- University degree in business administration;
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in a consulting or engineering firm;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel;
- Good command of French and English. Spanish is an asset.
