The Opportunity

Hansler Industries is looking for a Racking & Storage Installer to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. As the Racking & Storage Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of racking systems and storage solutions at various client sites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As a Racking & Storage Installer your key responsibilities will include:

• Install and assemble pallet racking, shelving, mezzanines, dock & door products
• Conduct site assessments and accurately measure spaces to ensure proper fit and configuration
• Load, transport, and unload materials and equipment to and from job sites
• Conduct basic repairs or modifications to existing racking systems
• Ensure all work complies with relevant health & safety regulations and company standards
• Communicate professionally with team members, site supervisors, and clients to ensure smooth operations and a high level of customer satisfaction
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• Previous experience in racking/storage installation preferred
• Previous experience in construction and/or warehousing preferred
• Knowledge of forklift and scissor lift operation is an asset
• Comfortable working at heights, including working on ladders or elevated platforms
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to travel to client sites within the region as needed
• Must be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team

The base pay range for this role is: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

This is an onsite role based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
