This may include working in our TELUS Health Care Centres, at client worksites, or on our mobile units. Our teams balance the business needs of our clients with the health needs of the worker population to create and maintain a healthy and productive workforce.

As a member of the TELUS Health team, you will provide comprehensive Occupational Health services to our valued clients. This may include working in our TELUS Health Care Centres, at client worksites, or on our mobile units. Our teams balance the business needs of our clients with the health needs of the worker population to create and maintain a healthy and productive workforce.
What You’ll Do
Health Surveillance screening, including but not limited to:
- Pre-employment medical questionnaires
- Collecting specimens for point-of-care blood tests and drug testing
- Testing such as ECG, visual acuity, audiometry and pulmonary function
- Patient registration
- Documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Booking appointments
- Supply management
- Assisting in the delivery of health promotion programs
- 1-3 years minimum current and concurrent experience working within a medical care facility.
- Certified Audiometric Technician and Spirometry Technician.
- Respiratory Fit Test Technician training.
- Drug and Alcohol Collector Certificate.
- Health/Medical Technicians having the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Certification at the Health Care Practitioners level (CPR-C) or
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
- Certifications applicable to the associated medical field.
- Experience with Medical Scheduling Systems.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Filing Systems.
- Experience working in a remote medical facility would be an asset.
- Must maintain a high level of discretion and comprehension with respect to personal privacy, confidentiality and protected information.
