Business System Analyst is a key member of the project team, contributing to the planning and project execution from ideation, through to completion.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with team members to capture, analyze, and document business needs.
  • Understand the business problem the project is tasked with solving and ensure project team does not lose sight of it.
  • Work with project team on defining and managing project scope.
  • Working on business requirements related to IT/Digital Development.
  • Document business requirements and translating them into technical requirements.
  • Create, monitor and constant review of sprint plans looking for opportunities to optimize where applicable.
  • Organize and lead working sessions and project update meetings within various levels of the organization.
  • Work closely with business and technical team members in support of project deliverables.
  • Identify project issues/roadblocks and steps for mitigation and resolution.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on project and process improvements.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and project timelines.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an agile environment, preferably with XP practices.
  • Scrum Master Experience.
  • Experience working on Digital Implementations
  • Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter
  • Guidewire Cloud Certification is considered an asset
  • Preference for CIP or equivalent experience with strong insurance knowledge
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, including coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Customer/business focused, strong collaborator management and results oriented.
