The Data Analyst is a hands-on role that will develop and maintain user-centric reporting and provide input on subject matter expertise to business leaders through the alignment with business strategy and organizational needs. This role will work within the Analytics team to identify business metrics and reporting solutions that will enhance the business intelligence function using primarily Power BI.
The Data Analyst will work in a fast-paced dynamic project environment, leveraging design and storytelling to make sense of data being presented in reports. Will ensure the creation and ongoing maintenance of process documentation for key deliverables. They will work in a cross-functional squad with other member of Enterprise Data and Analytics. This role reports to (Business Analytics Lead) and will indirectly work with the Manager, Business Enablement and Intake during enablement projects.

What will you be doing in this role?
REPORT DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN DATA STEWARDSHIP, CURATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SECONDARY DATA SYSTEMS
- Design and prototype new analyses, reports, visualizations, and data analytics in accordance with data governance and reporting design standards
- Identify business metrics and reporting solutions that will improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Business Intelligence function
- Make sense of large amounts of disparate data to tell a consistent story focused on key strategic decision making for executives and management

- Complete ad-hoc requests and analysis as required including data scans or proof of concept development

- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or similar technical program with a preferred Master’s degree.
- 2 years of relevant experience in Report Development and Design Methodologies
- 1+ years of experience in Power BI or similar reporting tool
- Data Retrieval and Analysis
- Experience in Power BI, SQL, Python and Statistics
- Self-starter, Comfortable in dynamic and changing environment
- Able to balance competing priorities and deadlines
- Confidence to make independent decisions
