The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and polished Sommelier / Food & Beverage Manager to lead our front-of-house team at Parker Rooftop. This is a unique role for someone who has both a deep love for wine and a natural ability to manage high-level restaurant operations. You’ll oversee daily service, curate an outstanding beverage program, and help guide Parker’s ongoing success as one of Vancouver’s most buzzworthy dining destinations.

Key Responsibilities
Wine & Beverage Leadership: Maintain and elevate our wine list, train staff on pairings, and champion Parker’s beverage identity
Team Development: Lead by example, coach and support FOH staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, scheduling, service flow, and team communication
Guest Relations: Set the tone for gracious, high-touch hospitality—both on the floor and behind the scenes
Collaboration: Work closely with the GM, Executive Chef, and Bar Manager on events, promotions, and service strategy
Financial Oversight: Monitor inventory, beverage cost controls, and labor efficiency in alignment with targets
Qualifications
2+ years of leadership experience in an upscale restaurant or hospitality setting
Sommelier certification or extensive wine knowledge and a passion for sharing it
A service-first mindset with a deep understanding of food, wine, and cocktails
Proven ability to inspire, coach, and lead a dynamic team
Organized, solution-focused, and able to handle a fast-paced environment with calm confidence
Must have or be eligible for a valid Work Permit in Canada
