Position Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Benefits Administrator to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees regarding their benefits inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • manage leaves of absence including medical, personal and compassionate care etc.
  • enroll new employees in the appropriate benefits programs, including reviewing eligibility requirements and collecting necessary, fully-completed paperwork
  • ensure data changes and/or terminations are processed quickly, efficiently and accurately
  • conduct new benefits orientations for new hires to explain the available plans and enrollment procedures
  • work with employees to resolve issues related to their benefits, including answering questions, investigating concerns, and escalating issues as required
  • conduct communication sessions with employees regarding their benefits, providing information about plan options, changes to benefits, and other relevant topics
  • review and reconcile monthly billings to ensure accuracy
  • manage open enrollment periods, providing employees with information about their benefit options and assisting with the enrollment/change process
  • provide reporting and analytics related to employee benefits, including cost analysis, usage trends, and other relevant data
  • assist in the development of policies related to employee benefits, ensuring that an organization's benefits programs are consistent with its overall goals and values

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Benefits Administrator with at least 3+ years’ administering employee benefit programs
  • superior attention to detail

  • proven track record of maintaining the highest standard of ethics and integrity in handling sensitive employee information
