Are you a detail-oriented and skilled payroll professional seeking an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading construction company? Based out of the Edmonton HQ, Clark Builders is looking for a Payroll Administrator for a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension, to become a valued member of our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of our bi-weekly, multi-provincial payroll. Reports to: Payroll Manager

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Review time sheets in TimeTracker to ensure data for processing is accurate and meets all applicable provincial and federal employment standards legislation
  • Complete full cycle payroll
  • Complete ROEs on ROE web
  • Remit and reconcile RRSP and health benefit plan data
  • Complete government requested earnings confirmations
  • Research and prepare historical data as required
  • Reconcile Employee A/R accounts as required
  • Update and maintain payroll instructions, procedures, and processes
  • Perform all other related duties as required

  • Knowledge of the construction industry is considered an asset
  • Experience with remittances and reconciliations is considered an asset
  • Experience with Workday, Success Factors or similar payroll software is considered an asset


Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years Payroll experience preferable in the construction industry
  • Professional certification (or pursuing) through National Payroll Institute (PCP) considered an asset
  • Post-Secondary diploma in Accounting or Business Administration considered an asset
