An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and experienced Electrical BIM Manager to join a growing team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This role offers the chance to lead BIM initiatives, mentor junior staff, and implement best practices in Revit across a range of innovative and impactful building projects.

This position has opened due to recent team transitions and a growing number of junior staff members. It presents an opportunity for a seasoned BIM professional to take a leadership role in shaping and driving BIM strategy, processes, and team development.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development, management, and coordination of electrical BIM models from concept through construction.
  • Oversee project BIM execution in collaboration with design and production teams.
  • Establish and maintain BIM standards, templates, and quality control procedures.
  • Perform model audits and quality checks to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and integration issues.
  • Train and mentor team members on BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD) and workflows.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for workflow automation and process improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging BIM technologies.
  • Support production of high-quality construction documentation.


What You Bring:


  • 5+ years of experience in BIM management or electrical design coordination within consulting or construction.
  • Advanced proficiency with Revit (a must-have) and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of electrical building systems and construction documentation.
  • Experience managing production teams and coordinating across disciplines.
  • Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans, clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks, BIM360), and construction workflows.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and National Building Code of Canada (NBCC) is an asset.
  • A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
