Coordinator, Fleet, Facilities and Procurement

About The Role

The Coordinator, Fleet, Facilities, and Procurement provides essential support to GTel’s operations by overseeing the company’s fleet and procurement programs. The coordinator will analyze key performance metrics and implement corrective actions to address inefficiencies and gaps within the programs.

The ideal candidate will be accountable for ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, meeting financial commitments, and driving operational improvements that enhance GTel’s success, stability, and security.

Other Duties Include

  • Generate and analyze monthly fleet and procurement reports.
  • Update and maintain logistics documentation.
  • Coordinate vehicle services and manage scheduling.
  • Oversee the purchase order process for services and equipment.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies for fleet management.
  • Document and address fleet-related incidents.
  • Administer GPS systems for fleet tracking.
  • Execute administrative duties related to fleet management.
  • Prepare meeting materials and enforce operational standards.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment is available, calibrated, and in good repair.
  • Establish and administer preventative maintenance programs for facility equipment.
  • Oversee safety compliance of contractor activities.
  • Ensure operational readiness of critical equipment.
  • Uphold relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

  • Strong attention to details

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Education and experience in a technical field such as fleet maintenance, logistics and/or facilities management would be an asset
  • Experience in business writing, drafting communications, minute taking, writing reports etc.
  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Forms)
  • Class G driver's license
