- Work closely with the Village leaders to ensure all shifts are filled on a daily basis.
- Send out shift requests as per the village collective agreement.
- Collaborate with the village leaders to plan for vacation coverage of team members.
- Prioritize village needs as per the vacancy report.
- Be the point of contact for shift fulfillment with the charge nurse and leaders.
- Connect with employment agencies when shifts are not internally filled.
- Provide exceptional customer experience while acting as the first point of contact for team member questions about schedules, call-ins and open shifts.
- Support administrative assistance with office coverage.
- Create exceptional customer experiences for incoming queries, from residents, families and team members.
- Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective support.
- Have an office administration certificate or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Efficient in the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other computer programs.
- Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members.
- Previous experience working in the context of a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home.
