About Us

Future West Solar is Canada’s go-to solar energy provider, delivering clean energy solutions backed by excellent service and technical expertise. We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Service Coordinator to support our growing operations team and help ensure every installation and service call runs smoothly and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Service Coordinator, you’ll be at the center of our service operations—working closely with our installation crews and clients to ensure every job is scheduled, staffed, and supported. You'll balance client needs with field team schedules, and keep everyone aligned through clear communication and fast problem-solving. This position is a temporary contract expected for 2 months, however there is the possibility that this position may be extended.

What You'll Do

  • Answer inbound service calls and respond to email requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create and schedule service work orders and planned maintenance visits.
  • Dispatch technicians and manage daily/weekly schedules, adjusting routes as needed.
  • Follow up with technicians to confirm job completion and accuracy of documentation.
  • Monitor service queues to ensure calls are not left pending or unassigned.
  • Review and manage aging service calls to ensure timely resolution.
  • Update clients on job status and scheduling changes via email or through their customer portals.
  • Proactively identify scheduling conflicts or delays and help troubleshoot solutions.
  • Maintain excellent internal and external communication to ensure a seamless experience.

What You Bring

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with solid problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with scheduling, dispatch, or service coordination—ideally in construction, solar, or field services.
  • Comfortable using scheduling platforms, CRMs, email, and web-based systems.
  • Clear communication skills across phone, email, and digital tools.
  • Able to stay calm and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education is an asset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in solar, construction, or renewable energy environments
  • Familiarity with permitting, project tracking, or logistics software
