As the Vendor Marketing & Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing relationships with our manufacturing partners. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will be the primary liaison between our company and vendors, overseeing promotional initiatives, strategic partnerships, and advertising opportunities on our eCommerce platform.


This role requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance vendor engagement, drive business growth, and develop new promotional infrastructure. You will also work closely with our data team, website team, sales, and purchasing teams to maximize marketing opportunities and support vendor-driven incentives such as DSO rebates. Additionally, you will manage all quarterly and event-based specials from vendors and oversee the Promotions Coordinator to ensure accurate input of promotions and review vendor reports for performance insights.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Relationship Management – Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor communications, fostering strong relationships through regular meetings, email correspondence, and proactive engagement.
  • Promotional Planning & Execution – Develop and execute targeted marketing promotions with vendors, ensuring alignment with business objectives and tracking performance.
  • Quarterly & Event Specials – Manage all quarterly and event-based specials from vendors, ensuring seamless execution and promotional alignment.
  • Strategic Partnerships – Identify opportunities for deeper collaboration with key vendors and explore new partnerships to expand our product offerings and market presence.
  • Vendor Advertising & Listings Management – Oversee vendor advertising programs, optimize product listings, and ensure vendor participation in marketing initiatives.
  • Promotions Coordination & Oversight – Manage the Promotions Coordinator to ensure accurate input, execution, and claiming of all promotions, review vendor reports, and provide data-driven insights for optimization.
  • Campaign Coordination – Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and marketing, to align vendor promotions with company-wide marketing strategies and seasonal campaigns, securing and overseeing exclusive promotions.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting – Partner with the data team to track vendor engagement, measure promotional success, and optimize future campaigns with data-driven insights.
  • Website Promotional Infrastructure – Work with the website team to enhance vendor-driven marketing placements and advertising opportunities on the site.
  • Rebates & Purchasing Collaboration – Partner with purchasing and sales teams to manage and leverage DSO rebates, ensuring alignment with vendor marketing programs and maximizing cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiation & Budgeting – Oversee vendor marketing budgets, negotiate advertising placements, and ensure cost-effective marketing collaborations.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in vendor relations, marketing partnerships, or account management, ideally within a distribution or eCommerce environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience managing external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple vendor agreements and marketing programs.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying partnership opportunities and revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, digital advertising, and marketing campaign execution.
  • Experience working with data teams and website development teams to implement marketing initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM or vendor management tools.
