The Technical Writer is responsible for the creation, development and ongoing review of written material for internal and external projects, as well as technical documents including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures, Frequently Asked Questions, Work Instructions, Guidance Documents and contracts.
Reporting to the Director, Operational Excellence and working in collaboration with Process Engineers focused on CIP and strategic projects, Project Managers, technical teams, operations teams and training department, you will be responsible for creating, monitoring and updating copy for all assigned projects.

The Technical Writer is responsible for the creation, development and ongoing review of written material for internal and external projects, as well as technical documents including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures, Frequently Asked Questions, Work Instructions, Guidance Documents and contracts.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here):
- Obtain a deep understanding of products, services and operations processes to be able to translate complex information into simple, polished, easy to understand, and engaging content
- Develop comprehensive technical documents including SOPs, WIs, FAQs and GDs through collaboration with operational teams
- Where required, provide training on updated technical documents to relevant team members
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement
- Proofread content as required
- Contribute to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the manager
- Post-secondary education in related discipline
- Impeccable written and spoken English skills with ability to translate complex processes into easy to understand format for the required audience
- Attention to detail
- Hands on expertise in MS utilities and tools to support good documentation
- Minimum 2 years experience working in Patient Support Programs, Specialty Pharmacy or complex, multi-faceted project with cross-functional departments
- General knowledge of reimbursement, patient assistance programs, database elements, functionality and operational policies and processes is strongly preferred
- Highly organized, highly detail oriented, and takes pride in meeting deadlines
- Excellent listening and questioning skills
- Ability to take direction and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record of new concept development for various projects
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects effectively and simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently where require
