Position Summary: The Project Engineer is responsible for successfully executing and leading a variety of IT projects for our clients. This role offers an opportunity to showcase technical expertise in server management, cloud migration, network configuration, VOIP and much more.


Key Responsibilities:

Execute IT Projects: Responsible for planning, managing, and executing IT projects, often independently. This includes server upgrades, VM migrations, and network configurations and more.

Client-Centric Solutions: Lead and collaborate on designing custom IT solutions that satisfy client-specific needs, including VOIP telephony solutions built on the 3CX platform.

Cloud Management: Independently manage and migrate files and directories to cloud platforms like Azure AD, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Network Management: Install, configure, and maintain wireless access points, switches, routers, and other network components.

Provide Technical Support: Work with other team members to provide technical support, ensuring client satisfaction.

VOIP Telephony: Lead the installation and configuration of VOIP telephony solutions built on the 3CX platform.

Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain project documentation, report progress, and challenges to the Project Coordinator.

Working closely with the Project Manager for scheduling, stakeholder communication, and project updates & reporting.


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT projects, including experience with VOIP telephony solutions, particularly on the 3CX platform.

Experience with migrating from file shares to SharePoint.

Experience configuring firewalls and switches and wireless access points including deployment or migrations.

Advanced knowledge of Windows server operations, VMware, Azure AD, and network configurations.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects with minimal guidance.


Working Conditions:

Full-time position.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as projects require.

Office environment with occasional travel to client locations.
