Modern Niagara is currently seeking a Warehouse Laborer to join our Vaughan, ON location.

The Warehouse Laborer will be essential for warehouse operations, handling tasks like receiving shipments, organizing inventory, picking orders, and maintaining cleanliness. They may also assist with inventory counts and operate machinery like forklifts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
  • Receive and process warehouse stock
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Perform inventory controls and while maintaining quality standards
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment
  • Assist in general repairs around the warehouse and office as required
  • Complete inbound and outbound documentation
  • Flagging and directing delivery trucks into warehouse loading area
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
  • Duties not limited to above

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a Warehouse Worker
  • Knowledge of construction tools and equipment preferred
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects 30+ pounds
  • Basic computer skills are considered an asset
  • High school diploma or equivalent
