Kelowna, BC Full-time $18.00-$20.00/hour
Dawson International Truck Centres is looking for a Detailer who will ensure that the fleet of commercial vehicles is meticulously cleaned and maintained to the highest standards, both inside and out, to provide exceptional service to their customers.
In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson International Truck Centres, working in a permanent, full-time position of Detailer reporting to the Service Manager. As the Detailer, a day on the job will include thoroughly cleaning and restoring the interior and exterior of vehicles to their original condition. Your work will include inspecting vehicles, cleaning and polishing surfaces, and applying protective finishes, all while providing excellent customer service and ensuring vehicles look and feel like new. Your base location will be Kelowna.

What Success Looks Like
- Washing and waxing the exterior of vehicles.
- Vacuuming and cleaning the interior, including upholstery and carpets.
- Cleaning windows, door jambs, and other surfaces.
- Steam cleaning engine compartments and other areas.
- Using specialized cleaning tools and products to remove dirt, grime, and stains.
- Inspecting vehicles for defects, scratches, and other issues.
- Applying touch-up paint for minor damage.
- Applying protective coatings to prevent future damage.
- Class 5 Drivers License considered an asset but not required
- Attention to detail to ensure high quality cleaning standards are met consistently
- Physically able to perform repetitive tasks including standing for periods of time
- Must be able to take direction and work independently
