We're looking for a QA Compliance Specialist to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing compliance documentation, managing vendor records, reviewing batch records, and responding to technical information requests. You'll play a key role in upholding our commitment to our seven core values—including sustainability across people, planet, and profit—by integrating these principles into all aspects of your work.

You’re good at:

  • Preparing detailed compliance documentation including Manufacturing Batch Records, Certificates of Analysis, and export-related documents
  • Assessing vendor materials and coordinating approvals and queries
  • Responding to technical documentation requests with accuracy and clarity
  • Managing and updating ERP and QMS systems efficiently
  • Building and maintaining regulatory frameworks like HACCP and PCP
  • Navigating complex compliance requirements from agencies like CFIA, FDA, Health Canada, and EU TRACES
  • Driving continuous improvement in quality assurance processes

What you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in QA or compliance roles in the food, NHP, or pharmaceutical industries
  • A solid understanding of GMP, GVP, and international regulations (CFIA, FDA, TGA, etc.)
  • HACCP/PCP knowledge (certification preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter attitude with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
