Part-time Water Blaster

Clean Harbors, in Windsor, ON is looking for PART TIME water blasters to work at our customer location and to join their safety conscious team! This team member is responsible for the successful execution of daily cleaning operations within the manufacturing facility and various other responsibilities. The candidate will be required to work various shifts – days, afternoons, weekends and nightshifts.

Part Time rate of $24.75/hour.

• Hands-on operation of manual and automated hydroblasting equipment; Pressures ranging from 5k-36k
• Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
• May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations;
• Must be able to stand on your feet entire shift, bend, stoop, climb ladders/stairs and not be afraid of heights plus be able to work in confined spaces;
• Perform routine daily route sheet assignments performing cleaning tasks throughout the facility (janitorial included) restrooms, break rooms, offices, conveyors, skids, exhaust fans, paint booths, automated equipment, ovens, pits and trash;
• Additional duties as assigned;
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work in cold and hot environments.
• Must be able to work weekends and nightshift
• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;
• Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;
• Valid driver license and other requirements of company’s driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business; if required
• OSHA certification may be required for this job;
• Must be able to work weekends and Midnights shifts during the weekdays for call in absentee coverage
• Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers;
• Forklifts/ Scrubbers/ Mobile Equipment Experience a PLUS.
