We’re looking for a Recycling Operator who will be responsible for removing all paper waste and refuge from the plant and dispose of them into compactors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remove and empty wooden bins and gaylords of paper from the plant floor into their own compactors
  • Remove and empty all refuge receptacles from the plant, including warehouse and dispose them into their own compactors
  • Separate colour paper from white paper and put into the appropriate compactor
  • Trim compactor daily to empty drawer from under the compactor, monitoring compactors are working accurately as needed
  • Load skids of butt rolls/disposable warehouse product into the Mississauga trailer every day and security bins weekly

Requirements

  • Secondary School Diploma
  • No experience is required, will provide in-house training
  • Must be physically fit to lift up to 50lbs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
