Jardeg is recruiting Rope Access Technicians with a B-Pressure Welding ticket to join the Heartland Constructors team at the IOL Kearl Spring Turnaround. Charter travel is provided from Calgary, Edmonton and Fort McMurray. This turnaround will run from May 5 - 30th on a 24/4 rotation, 12 hours per day. Overtime will be available daily after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week. We are accepting applicants with IRATA Level 1, 2, and 3 for this role.
Rope Access Technicians are used in a wide range of repair, maintenance, inspection and access work. Rope access methodology boasts an unrivalled safety record, short set-up and dismantling time, positive environmental benefits and removes the need for invasive access equipment or disruption to a worksite.

Responsibilities
- Proficiency in rope access techniques and equipment
- Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on structures and equipment at heights using rope access techniques.
- Conduct rigging and rope systems for safe access and egress
- Utilize hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment to complete assigned tasks
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Pressure welding
- CWB welding
- IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 Certification is required.
