The Parts Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, recording, and organizing incoming shipments of parts. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and proficiency in inventory management systems to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service. Duties also include processing parts returns and providing regular updates to supervisors.

The Parts Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, recording, and organizing incoming shipments of parts. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and proficiency in inventory management systems to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service. Duties also include processing parts returns and providing regular updates to supervisors.
As a Parts Receiver, you will:
- Receive incoming shipments of parts and inspect for accuracy and damages
- Verify parts received against packing slips or invoices and record them into the inventory system
- Label and store parts in designated locations, maintaining an organized and efficient receiving area
- Assist with inventory counts, audits, and reorder parts as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Process parts return, including damaged, not required, wrong parts, and update the supervisor with biweekly reports
- Communicate with vendors regarding shipment discrepancies or damages
- Follow up with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Arrange couriers for part deliveries and track shipments as needed
- Inspect received parts for quality, accuracy, and consistency with order specification
- Analyze data and reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in inventory management
- Navigate manufacturer websites to accurately identify appliance parts
- Process parts orders and place them with suppliers in a timely manner
- Train new team members on data entry procedures, inventory systems, and company policies
- Provide support as needed in receiving, scheduling services, and processing service work
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- A High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and recording
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments within the warehouse
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50–75 pounds)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
