Expected Salary: $125,054 to $187,581

We also operate in the Aviation sector, where Babcock ensures that the aircrew trainees of our partner nations receive the world’s best flying training. We deliver vital aerial emergency services and are proud to have been selected by the Government of Manitoba to deliver their wildfire suppression services, as well as key components of their critical air ambulance services.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the definition and execution of an approved Marine & Mission Systems growth strategy
• Be responsible for the identification and development of new growth opportunities capable of being progressed to successful outcomes
• Develop and foster strong relationships with target customers, partners, subcontractors and other stakeholders including within the wider Babcock organisation
• Work collaboratively with and support other growth portfolio leads such as Aviation and Land
• Promote Babcock in target Canadian and where appropriate, overseas markets
  
  

The ideal candidate brings:

• Post secondary degree or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of relevant Marine and or Mission Systems industry experience
• Proven leadership skills and strong motivational capabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with all organisational levels
• Eligibility for a Canadian Secret Security Clearance, ITAR and Controlled Goods
• Experience in the following areas would be an asset
• Defence & Security Markets
• Business Development or Capture Management
• Project, Commercial and / or Bid Management
