LTO Assignment
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor of Education Degree and must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
Qualifications appropriate to the position are required. As an applicant you must be qualified at the time of the posting to be eligible, do not apply to positions where you do not hold the qualifications.
Previous Elementary Teaching Experience Preferred
A working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession
A practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life
Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques
Current in understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices
Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all student

Resume/Curriculum Vitae
Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Registration in Good Standing and Certificate of Qualification

Baptismal Certificate or Proof of Initiation into the Roman Catholic Church
Copies of most recent Performance Appraisal and/or Practice Teaching Reports.
A minimum of three professional references (i.e. Principals, Vice-principal, associate-teachers, supervisors, etc)
Please ensure that your portfolio on Apply to Education includes the names and contact information of three referees, preferably one of whom is your immediate supervisor.
