We are looking for a thoughtful, reliable individual to provide case management services for clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Your Impact….

The Social Worker, Disability Services (DS) is responsible for collaboratively developing, providing and/or coordinating the delivery of a range of services, including early intervention, and services across the lifespan to children, youth and adults with disabilities and their families. These interventions are intended to support individuals with disabilities to reach their fullest potential and improve overall quality of life, including promoting the inclusion of persons with disabilities in their communities.

Essential qualifications

Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.

  • Bachelor of Social Work Degree
  • Experience working with adults or children with intellectual or developmental disabilities,
  • Experience developing and implementing case plans collaboratively with clients and families,
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide therapies and services to children with disabilities.

Conditions of employment

You must meet the following conditions before being hired, or within the time frame noted.

  • Copy of Bachelor of Social Work degree
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • RCMP Vulnerable Sector Security Clearance
  • TB screening
  • WHMIS 2015

  • Travel within the territory
  • Position may be exposed to critical, unpredictable and highly emotionally charged case situations.
