Overview
Join our dynamic team as an Éducatrice en garderie, where your passion for early childhood development and dedication to nurturing young minds will make a meaningful difference. Your bilingual skills in French and English will enhance communication with children and families, ensuring a supportive atmosphere that promotes learning and well-being. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that stimulate cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Provide attentive supervision to ensure children's safety at all times within the classroom and outdoor play areas.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special educational requirements, by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists to foster a collaborative care environment.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, daily routines, and any incidents or observations relevant to their development.
- Organize classroom materials, manage schedules efficiently, and ensure the learning space remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Use computer skills to document activities, update records, and communicate with families through digital platforms.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare or early childhood education setting is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engaging classroom activities while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English to facilitate communication with diverse families and team members.
- Strong organizational skills paired with excellent time management to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Effective written communication skills for maintaining detailed records and reports.
- Familiarity with computer operation and classroom management software enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
