Position Overview

Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a respected organization in their search for a Territory Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced agricultural sales professional to take ownership of an established Western Canadian territory, strengthen key dealer relationships, and drive continued growth across a substantial existing customer base.

The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time managing and expanding established dealer relationships, with a smaller focus on developing new business opportunities. This role is well suited to a relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys working closely with customers, understanding their needs, and building long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an established network of agricultural equipment dealers across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer partners through consistent communication, regular visits, and responsive account support

• Support dealers throughout the sales process, including product selection, quotations, opportunity development, and product knowledge

• Identify opportunities to increase sales and product penetration within existing dealer accounts

• Maintain a consistent account management and follow-up process to ensure dealer needs and sales opportunities are addressed effectively

• Conduct regular business reviews with key dealers to discuss performance, upcoming projects, sales opportunities, and areas for growth

• Develop new dealer relationships in markets where there is an opportunity to expand the organization’s presence

• Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and developments within the Western Canadian agricultural equipment industry

• Represent the organization at agricultural trade shows and industry events throughout Western Canada

• Maintain accurate CRM records, manage the sales pipeline, and provide reliable sales forecasting

• Work closely with the Ag Sales Manager on territory strategy, pipeline opportunities, dealer challenges, and major sales initiatives

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of B2B sales experience within the agricultural equipment industry

• Experience managing and growing an established dealer portfolio

• Previous experience working with farm equipment dealers is strongly preferred; experience selling directly to farmers or within a farm equipment dealership will also be considered

• Proven ability to develop long-term customer relationships and understand the needs of established accounts

• Structured and disciplined approach to CRM usage, account management, and pipeline development

• Self-motivated and comfortable independently managing a large geographic territory

• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for account growth and new business development

• Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout Western Canada

Rewards

• Base salary of $75,000-$85,000

• Realistic annual commissions around $40,000-$50,000

• Additional earning potential as the territory grows beyond its historical sales volume

• Company vehicle or vehicle/mileage allowance

• Business travel, accommodations, meals, and trade show expenses covered

• Home-based position with flexibility to work remotely throughout the territory
