Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future. We have mining operations and projects in northern Saskatchewan, Kazakhstan, the United States and Australia. We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.

The Role

As a member of Cameco’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) team, you will support operations by helping improve SCM tools, systems, and business processes. This role includes analyzing performance metrics, identifying operational efficiencies, enhancing documentation, and supporting quality and risk management initiatives.

In This Role, You Will

• contribute to the enhancement and continuous improvement of Cameco’s supply chain management (SCM) tools and systems.
• monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across SCM functional areas.
• collaborate with teams to map business processes and identify operational inefficiencies.
• review and address gaps in documentation to ensure clarity and consistency.
• support risk management corrective action processes and quality management activities in SCM.

Required

• Entering your third or fourth year at the Edwards School of Business, majoring in supply chain management;
• You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco;
• Aptitude for computer applications, such as Microsoft Office suite; and
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Recommended

• Understanding of PowerBI; and
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 certification.

You will have the opportunity to work hybrid in this position. However, there may be the need for intermittent meetings in the Saskatoon office. The details of this flex work arrangement will be discussed with you in the recruitment process.
