Standard Job Description

The candidate will participate in a structured cooperative educational/work program between Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. (Lockheed Martin) and a college/university where they are enrolled in an accredited degree program directly related to skills required by the company.

Candidate will perform assigned tasks in technical/engineering disciplines e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering.

Specifically, The Candidate Will Perform Operating System And Networking Related Work For The In Service Support Of The Combat Management System (CMS 330) Of The Halifax Class Frigates At Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Halifax In Our Operating Environment (OE). This May Include

  • Requirements engineering
  • Software design
  • Updating the CMS 330 Operating Environment
  • Documentation
  • Statusing & Metrics Reporting\
  • Various other tasks as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Current student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or substantially similar field
  • Active Security Clearance.
  • Experience in network configuration and scripting.
  • Working knowledge of operating systems
  • Able to work 100% on site

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development practices
  • Good communication skills, and ability to work within a team
