The Merchandiser/Driver is a key part of our customer relationship and represents Arctic Beverages. The Merchandiser/Driver meets with the customers and places the merchandise in the display areas following set plan-o-grams, ensuring that the store is properly set according to plan. This role is also required to drive a 3 and/or 5 ton truck to deliver the products to the customer. This role is for our branch in Prince Albert, SK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Rotate stock and stock shelves.
  • Follow plan-o-gram.
  • Ensure that products are properly faced, printed and identified.
  • Look for product expiry date and handle accordingly.
  • Ensure POS material is utilized appropriately.
  • Ensure promotions, displays, and cross-merchandising initiatives.
  • Help with store displays as required.
  • Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
  • Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, and products.
  • Deliver products to the customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Process returns & credits regularly

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

  • Working experience in Merchandising role preferred.
  • Ability to Drive a 3 and/or 5 ton truck; training is provided.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, packing and unpacking consumer goods, able to kneel to stock shelves, able to reach and lift to stock shelves.
  • Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and understand store plan-o-gram and set instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work.
  • Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
  • Have a professional attitude and appearance.
  • High energy, motivated person with excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs may be required.
  • Work is performed in a combination of environments.
  • This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odours, fumes and oils.
