Job Summary
The Scheduler plays a critical role in the successful operation of the Whistler Blackcomb Ski & Ride School by creating, maintaining, and optimizing instructor schedules to support daily business demands. This position works closely with Ski & Ride School leadership, instructors, and operational partners to ensure appropriate staffing levels, efficient resource allocation, and exceptional guest experiences.
The Scheduler must balance guest demand, instructor availability, certification requirements and operational priorities while responding effectively to changing conditions throughout the season.
Job Specifications
- Starting Wage: $23.00/hr - $28.59/hr
- Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
- Shift Type: Full Time hours available
- Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities
- Create and maintain daily, weekly, and seasonal schedules for Ski & Ride School instructors
- Ensure staffing levels align with lesson demand forecasts, operational requirements, and budget targets.
- Monitor instructor availability, time-off requests, and scheduling preferences.
- Assign instructors to lessons based on certification levels, teaching experience, language skills, and guest needs.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with employees and leaders across the Ski & Ride School.
- Support a positive workplace culture through proactive communication and collaboration.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A Knowledge of Ski & Ride School operations and instructor certification pathways is preferred.
