Family Lawyer

We are seeking a Family Lawyer with at least 2 years of dedicated family law experience to join a busy and supportive practice. The role offers strong mentorship, excellent administrative support, and the opportunity to manage a high-volume family law practice within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse and high-volume family law caseload.
• Advise clients on family law matters and provide practical legal guidance.
• Handle files independently while maintaining strong client and practice management.
• Draft and review legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and other parties.
• Manage competing deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Work collaboratively with lawyers and support staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dedicated Family Law experience.
• LL.B. or J.D.
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
• Proven client and practice management skills.
• Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a high-volume practice.
• Professional, organized, and client-focused.
