The Senior Cook works as part of a collaborative and dynamic team in a new, modern, well-equipped commercial kitchen in order to prepare daily nutritious meals while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in eating and prep areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Three (3) years’ related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education training and experience will also be considered.
• Completed Grade 12 along with a recognized twelve (12) month program in cooking.

Requirements

• Food Safe Level 1 and Level 2.
• Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.

Job Information

• Hourly Wage Rate: $29.22– $33.54.
• Days of Work: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday with alternating Tuesday.
• Shift Time: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, alternating Tuesdays from 7:00 am. to 3:00 pm.
• Total Weekly Hours: Average 36.75 hours.
• Union: BCGEU.
• Work Location: Rock Bay Landing - 535 Ellice St.
• Job Type: Fulltime, Permanent.
• Expected Start Date: First week of October.
