Are you a talented and experienced Payroll Compliance Practitioner? We want you to join our unique Time & Labour team in the Health Shared Services Payroll department as an Administrative Support V. This team supports thousands of timekeepers, approvers and managers to achieve accurate time reported to pay over 100,000 employees at Alberta Health Services and pillars, Alberta Precision Laboratories, Covenant Health, Capital Care. Each bi-weekly pay period, you will work with your team to perform daily and weekly activities. Your critical and analytical skills will ensure accuracy as you monitor reports and queries of time reported, bank balances and exceptions to prevent overpayments and pay errors. Your strong customer focus and effective communication skills working with timekeepers, WFM and Telestaff teams will ensure our partners receive the support needed to resolve pay impacting issues. Your knowledge of collective agreements, Employment Standards and payroll policies will enable you to problem solve errors and auditing employee setup. Your attention to detail will ensure pay impacting exceptions are resolved and assist with your review of post pay processing audits. You have outstanding interpersonal skills and adaptability to change. You have demonstrated initiative, and have excellent organizational, analytical, conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills. With your track record of success, highlighted by your payroll and time entry experience in a unionized environment, and accreditation in the National Payroll Institute as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP), you’re poised for success.
As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications
Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) completed certification is required. Previous payroll processing and time entry experience required. Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook) required. Post-secondary education related to business administration or human resources. Equivalences of education and experience demonstrated by progressively more responsible roles may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PeopleSoft or WFM preferred. Experience in a unionized environment preferred.
