Community Description

Artspace is located at the edge of the spectacular river valley in The Quarters Downtown. Founded in 1990, Artspace is a thriving community of different cultures, incomes, ages, and abilities. Artspace’s unique model includes Supports for Artspace Independent Living (SAIL), which operates on-site, twenty-four hours a day, to assist members with physical disabilities. One-third of Artspace’s units are adapted for wheelchair users. Opportunities for member participation are abundant, as are thank-you’s! If you stroll past on a sunny day you’re likely to spot a community gathering of some form or other. (Be sure to say “Hello!”)
