Project Manager

Itec group is partnered with a leading manufacturer of custom automated machinery seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex automation projects, from initial concept to final installation.

Daily Responsibilities May Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Project Planning & Coordination: Lead and coordinate all aspects of automation projects, from scoping, resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management to ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Mechanical Design of Automated Equipment using Solidworks and AutoCAD
• Travel to customer sites in the US and Internationally up to 40%
• Quality & Safety Oversight: Ensure that all machinery and automation systems meet the company’s quality standards and comply with industry safety regulations. Perform regular inspections and audits to maintain high-quality control.
• Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project budgets of up to $20M
• Timeline & Deadline Management: Manage and track project timelines, ensuring that key milestones are met and projects are delivered on time. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and present detailed project reports, including progress updates, budget tracking, risk assessments, and post-project reviews.
• Post-Installation Support: Oversee the commissioning phase of the projects, ensuring smooth handover to clients. Support the service and maintenance teams to address any post-installation needs.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in industrial automation, machinery, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering. PMP is an asset.
• Proven experience managing complex automation projects of up to $20M in cost
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, Mechanical Design, and manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated experience with budget management, project scheduling, and risk assessment.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Ability to travel to client sites and project locations up to 40%.

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

Salary Range: $135,000 to $145,000 + bonus, benefits, RRSP match
