Purpose

We are looking for an Aerospace Quality & Compliance Analyst to join our Quality team. In this role, you will help maintain and improve our Quality Management System, support internal and external audits, and ensure our operations remain aligned with aviation regulations, customer requirements, and industry standards. You will work closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Customer Support, and leadership to strengthen quality performance across the business.

Objectives

  • Maintain and enhance compliance with regulatory authorities, customers, and industry standards (AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015).
  • Support the integrity, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure ongoing certification, accreditation, and licensing in alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote risk-based thinking and quality culture across the organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day effectiveness of our QMS and continuous improvement activities.
  • Conduct process audits and compliance reviews across repair, manufacturing, and related operations.
  • Support AS9100D / ISO 9001 compliance, certification readiness, and audit follow-up.
  • Investigate nonconformities, quality escapes, and customer issues using root cause methods such as 5-Why, Fishbone, and FMEA.
  • Support CAPA, SCAR responses, and effectiveness verification.
  • Monitor quality KPIs and help drive practical improvement actions.
  • Support risk assessments and apply risk-based thinking in quality processes.
  • Maintain quality records, controlled documents, and technical data within the DMS.
  • Support supplier quality activities and follow up on quality concerns as needed.
  • Help deliver quality awareness and compliance training across the organization.

Your ideal background

Required

  • College diploma in aircraft maintenance or equivalent or other relevant training.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in aerospace quality, MRO, manufacturing, or regulatory compliance.
  • Working knowledge of aviation regulations, including Transport Canada requirements.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate professionally with internal teams, customers, and regulators.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Comfort working independently and handling ambiguity.
  • Bilingual (French and English)*.
  • The position requires a very good knowledge of English, both oral and written. The position involves reading and understanding technical documents in English on a daily basis, especially from international companies, as well as regular communication with customers, suppliers and other international stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Internal Auditor certification for AS9100.
  • Experience with CAPA, SCARs, supplier quality, or external audits.
  • Familiarity with DMS systems and document control.
