Salary: $38.00 hourly (130 to 150 hours per month)
Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in a pharmaceutical and medical laboratory setting. The successful candidate will support laboratory operations, perform sample analysis, and maintain equipment in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine the results of the tests
- Set up medical laboratory equipment
- Clean and maintain medical laboratory and laboratory equipment
- Conduct quality control assessment of testing techniques
- Prepare samples
- Analyze data and prepare reports
- Staff in various areas of responsibility
Requirements
Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
Experience
- 5 years or more
Specialized Experience & Skills
- Analytical techniques: GC-MS/FID system, Chromatography
- Laboratory testing and analysis
- Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word
- Area of work experience: Pharmaceuticals and medicines
- Area of specialization: Testing
