About Wild Folk
Wild Folk is a Calgary-based premium non-alcoholic beverage company crafting botanical cocktails designed for moments of connection. Made with real herbs, roots, citrus, and botanicals, our beverages bring the complexity and ritual of a great cocktail—without the alcohol.
As we continue expanding across Canada, we are looking for a people-focused, energetic team member to help grow our retail and hospitality partnerships, support account relationships, and bring the Wild Folk experience to life through sampling and merchandising.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Sales & Account Experience Coordinator who loves connecting with people, building relationships, and creating memorable customer experiences.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the community, meeting retailers, supporting accounts, executing tastings, and helping brands grow. You will work closely with the founder to support sales initiatives, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and help introduce Wild Folk to new retail and hospitality partners.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys a mix of relationship building, organization, creativity, and getting out from behind a desk.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Account Management
- Support the growth and management of retail and hospitality accounts.
- Build strong relationships with store owners, managers, buyers, and staff.
- Conduct account visits to ensure strong merchandising and brand presence.
- Identify opportunities to increase product visibility and sales.
- Support new account onboarding and follow-up.
- Maintain account notes, sales tracking, and customer communication.
Sampling & Brand Experiences
- Coordinate and execute product tastings and sampling events.
- Educate consumers and retail staff about Wild Folk’s story and products.
- Create engaging customer experiences that reflect the Wild Folk brand.
- Support event preparation, execution, and follow-up.
Merchandising
- Ensure Wild Folk products are displayed beautifully and consistently.
- Support retail partners with merchandising recommendations.
- Capture photos and feedback from accounts.
- Identify opportunities to improve shelf presence and visibility.
General Support
- Assist with sales initiatives, promotions, and community outreach.
- Provide feedback from customers and accounts to help guide growth.
- Work closely with the founder and broader team as Wild Folk expands.
Who We’re Looking For
You are someone who:
- Loves meeting people and building genuine relationships.
- Is outgoing, organized, and comfortable starting conversations.
- Has experience in sales, customer experience, hospitality, retail, merchandising, or brand activation.
- Enjoys working independently while being part of a small, growing team.
- Has strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Is passionate about supporting local and emerging brands.
Experience with:
- Beverage, food, hospitality, CPG, or retail sales is an asset.
- Product sampling and demonstrations is highly valued.
- Merchandising and account visits is preferred.
Requirements
- Canadian citizen
- Currently unemployed and eligible due to being laid off from a previous position
- Living in Calgary, Alberta
- Available to work 30 hours per week
- Reliable transportation required, as the role involves visiting retail and event locations throughout Calgary.
- Must be comfortable lifting and moving product cases.
